Return and Refund Policy

 

1. Service Guarantee Overview

We stand behind the quality of our repair work. This policy outlines the conditions under which customers may request refunds, service credits, or additional repairs at no charge.

Policy Valid For: Service-only repairs (diagnostics, repairs, screen replacements, battery replacements, software troubleshooting, etc.)

2. Refund Eligibility

✅ We Offer Full Refunds When:

  • Service was not performed as described or promised
  • Repair was unsuccessful and the device remains in the same condition as when dropped off
  • Customer requests cancellation before work begins (100% refund)
  • Customer requests cancellation during work if labor has not exceeded 25% of quoted time (prorated refund applies)
  • Device was damaged due to technician negligence or mishandling during repair
  • We cannot replicate the issue or complete the service as specified

❌ We Do NOT Offer Refunds When:

  • Customer declines to pay and requests a refund after work completion
  • Service was completed successfully but customer changed their mind
  • Device has pre-existing damage unrelated to our repair
  • Customer did not follow post-repair care instructions (e.g., exposing repaired phone to water within 24 hours)
  • Hardware or parts were already faulty/defective before arrival
  • Work was completed as requested and device functions properly upon delivery

3. Service Warranty & Repair Guarantees

Standard Warranty: 30 Days

All completed repairs include a 30-day warranty covering:

  • The specific component we repaired (e.g., screen, battery, charging port)
  • Labor defects or installation errors
  • Parts failure due to manufacturing defects (not user damage)

What's NOT Covered:

  • Water damage or liquid exposure
  • Physical drops, cracks, or impact damage
  • Software issues unrelated to our repair
  • Pre-existing conditions discovered after repair
  • Normal wear and tear

Extended Warranty (Optional)

  • 60-day coverage: Available for an additional 15% of repair cost
  • 90-day coverage: Available for an additional 25% of repair cost

4. Return Process

Step 1: Request Authorization

  • Contact Millennium Communications within 14 days of service completion
  • Provide: receipt number, device model, repair description, and reason for return

Step 2: Device Evaluation

  • Bring the device and original receipt to our location
  • Our technician will inspect the device to confirm warranty coverage applies
  • Evaluation typically takes 24–48 business hours

Step 3: Resolution

Once approved, we will:

  • Repair again at no charge (if covered under warranty), OR
  • Issue a service credit for future repairs, OR
  • Process a full refund (if service was unsuccessful and cannot be remedied)

5. Refund Timeline & Method

  • Processing Time: 5–7 business days after approval
  • Refund Method:
    • Original payment method (credit/debit card, cash)
    • In-store credit (alternative option)
  • Note: Credit card refunds may take an additional 1–3 business days to appear depending on your financial institution

6. Conditions & Limitations

We Reserve the Right to Deny Refunds If:

  • Device shows signs of customer misuse after repair (new damage, water exposure, physical impact)
  • Customer cannot produce original receipt or proof of service
  • More than 14 days have elapsed since service completion
  • Repair was completed as requested and device functions properly
  • Customer fails to follow technician instructions for post-repair care

Post-Repair Care Requirements:

  • Avoid exposing repaired devices to water or moisture for 24 hours
  • Do not drop or apply excessive pressure to repaired components
  • Allow adhesives and sealants to cure fully before use (technician will specify timeline)
  • Follow all technician recommendations for software updates or settings adjustments

7. Diagnostic Fee Policy

Diagnostic fees are non-refundable unless:

  • We determine the device cannot be repaired
  • We cannot identify the issue after a thorough diagnosis
  • Customer chooses not to proceed with repairs (in which case the diagnostic fee can be applied as a credit toward future services)

8. Parts & Materials

  • Parts Warranty: All replacement parts (screens, batteries, charging ports, etc.) carry the same 30-day warranty as labor
  • OEM vs. Aftermarket Parts: We clearly disclose which parts we use; warranty coverage applies equally to both
  • Customer-Supplied Parts: Warranty does not cover parts brought in by customer; we assume no responsibility for their quality

9. Exceptions & Special Circumstances

Data Recovery or Backup Services:

  • Non-refundable once work has begun
  • We are not liable for data loss; customers assume all risk

Software-Only Issues:

  • Refundable if issue cannot be resolved after 2 repair attempts
  • We will attempt troubleshooting free of charge for 30 days post-repair

Manufacturer Defects:

  • If the device itself is defective (not our repair), customers should contact the manufacturer
  • We can assist with manufacturer warranty claims but assume no liability

10. Customer Responsibilities

By accepting service, customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about device history and issues
  • Allow technicians reasonable time to diagnose and repair
  • Follow all post-repair care instructions
  • Inspect the device before leaving our premises and report any concerns immediately
  • Report warranty issues within 14 days of service completion
